The Mindsets of Successful Dyslexics
We can learn a lot from successful and famous dyslexics. Luckily we have studies that explain to us the key traits of successful dyslexic adults. That way, we can learn from their examples.
An important trait is definitely their persistence. Due to all the failure they experienced in school, they became detached from it, and are not easily discouraged. These successful dyslexics are also aware of their strengths and weaknesses. They use the support of their social network.
Additionally, their past experiences made them incredibly motivated to prove those wrong that doubted them in the past. And lastly, these successful dyslexics understand their dyslexia and, therefore, also understand their limitations.
