Why do dyslexics flip words and letters? The reason lies in a perceptual talent, which is the gift of dyslexic thinking. This talent results in many advantages, but causes problems with the written word because they are 2-dimensional symbols.
Here we explain why this problem exists. The solution is very simple; we need to stop the dyslexic from turning the 2D symbols into 3D images in the mind, and we can do that by eliminating the confusion.
