Dyscalculia Test for Adults
This dyscalculia test for adults can be a good start to discovering whether or not you have dyscalculia. The more often you answer “yes” the more likely it is that you actually have dyscalculia. While it does not replace an official diagnosis, this dyscalculia test can be the first step in finding out something new about yourself.
Yes to 11 out of 12…I am usually OK at memorizing my address and such.
Wow. I watched it and after question three was so confused about why you kept going with the questions but stopped numbering the questions. It was so confusing and I lost track of my answers and didn’t understand why you were putting so many questions together. So I went back and watched it a second time and well, there were the numbers and then I was able to answer the questions and use my hands to track. I think I was an 11. I’ve always struggled with math but have found if I slow waaaaaaay down and go over things several times, my brain starts to get it. This video is really helpful bc I’ve spent 42 years believing I’m just dumb with numbers (i remember it hitting hard around age 7) and not as intellectually capable as other people. I’m now wondering what to do with this new information about myself.
Also 11 out of 12. Am now 58 and found it difficult in the workplace, working with numbers. At school was considered above average but it was never picked up that I couldn’t understand maths. Still can’t remember my telephone number 😅. It’s a relief to find there was a reason for all this.
Thank you for putting this together. I’m 11 out of 12 also. I have no problem memorizing numbers if I think of them as a code. Glad I’m not alone! I would love to know the coping mechanisms that others have developed.
