The Value of Dyslexic Thinking
The global charity Made by Dyslexia has joined forces with Sir Richard Branson to launch a campaign #DyslexicThinking, which has enlisted major organisations to recognise “Dyslexic Thinking” as a celebrated term and valuable workplace skillset against an outdated narrative.
Because of their efforts, LinkedIn members can add “Dyslexic Thinking” as a skill on their LinkedIn Profile.
Dictionary.com has also confirmed it will add “Dyslexic Thinking” as an officially defined term, noting its “strengths in creative, problem-solving and communication skills.”
Good morning I have just come across this about dyslexia, and it’s great to see it as a positive rather than a negative. I all so have dyslexia and I did struggle at school as it was not really known about and how to deal with it rather than struggle. I all ways had a teacher assistant with me and at one point my school said to my mum I may need to leave for a special needs school. I was very active at school done cross country as well. they where my best subjects as I all ways struggled with reading and righting. when I left school I would join a fencinging company and I would then go on to design a product that hit the highest security grade for a fence panel. witch led to m15 mi6 contracts .and more government contracts and all so be able to register for ios 9000 . with all that in mind I was amazed how well it went , I went to be the inventor of this product but on the down side not the owner as I designed it at the company premises. and was awarded £50 for my idea witch everyone said I should at least get a percentage. but that is a learning curve I still have loads of idea. so it’s somthing to watch out for and if you do have an idea try and get it patent first. as I belive my idea I was told was selling at £1500 a meter due to the spec of the design.
kind regards
all so came up with a design for the Greenwich flats. with putting my idea to the prime minister at the time and I personally emailed them but with no response. gutted as this was forwarded to a invention team and I was told it would sell all over the world. they have 10 years before they have the right to make it in production. on top of that I have an idea from fall from height…….
